e-commerce giant Alibaba’s Chairman Jack Ma on Monday met India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi,as he is looking to grow the company vicinity in Indian market.
According to a tweet by Alibaba Group, in his meeting with Prime Minister on Monday, Ma discussed how Alibaba can help empower small businesses in India.
“Had a very good meeting with Jack Ma,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Expanding the firm across globe by helping more small businesses is one of the major strategies of Alibaba.
Alibaba founded in 1999 and is now one of the world’s biggest online and mobile commerce firm.
Jack Ma, the wealthiest man in China with a fortune of about US$ 24.4 billion.
