Director Sujoy Ghosh, who made a critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful blockbuster like ‘Kahaani’ has not yet taken his new film onto sets. Despite he has been mulling over few projects, nothing has been materialized yet.
As per reports, his next project ‘Durga Rani Singh’ has been facing severe heat from the leading lady. None of his choices are able to allot dates for him and he is reportedly in doldrums.
Vidya Balan, who starred in ‘Kahaani’ was his first choice but somehow, he later offered the same film to the current leading actress of Bollywood, Kangna Ranaut. The National Award winning actress got busy with Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ so he knocked the door of former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai.
The ‘Jazbaa’ actress liked the subject but she had already committed for two other films so she asked the director to wait for some more time for her. Now, Sujoy is in confusion as whether to go back to Vidya or wait for either Aishwarya or Kangna.
