Dunes, channels and craters on Titan: this new view of a frigid alien landscape comes from recent radar images of Saturn’s largest moon taken by the international Cassini spacecraft. Cassini obtained these images during a close flyby of Titan on 25 July, when the spacecraft came as close as 976 km from the moon. The spacecraft’s radar instrument is able to penetrate the dense haze that surrounds Titan, to reveal fine details on the surface. See http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?release=2016-232
