Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the domestic IT industry to focus on meeting cyber Security challenges.
“The whole world is concerned about cyber security and Indian IT experts could do a great deal for cyber safety of computerized resources over the world,” Prime Minister said at the 25th anniversary event of National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom).
The PM also urged the IT division to support tourism. “One way of doing this is to make virtual historical centers that showcase India’s legacy,” he said.
He called upon industry pioneers to contribute towards making e-libraries for schools.
He also called Nasscom members to take an interest in a competition to develop software and applications for the Prime Minister’s Office.
