A Surat-based businessman has announced donation to the tune of Rs 200 crore for the welfare of 10,000 girls in the Gujarat state.
Real estate builder Laljibhai Patel has announced this huge donation for the welfare of the Patidar community. In this scheme, Rs 2 lakh will be deposited in the bank account of each girl by the time they attain 21 years. The money would be used for the marriage of the girls.
‘Badsah Sukanya Bond’ will be issued at an event to be organized from March 13th to 20th, to Second Daughter born in each Patidar Family. The programme will be attended by noted seer Sadhvi Ritambhara.
Laljibhai Patel’s act is really appreciable even though it is for sake of his community.
