Microsoft founder Bill Gates has taken the side of the FBI and said Apple should unlock the phone of the San Bernardino terrorist.
In his latest interview, when the Microsoft founder was asked about the stance of Apple, he simply reiterated the Justice Department’s claim that this is a special case where the government is asking for access and the FBI is not asking for any general unlocking tool.
Bill Gates’ comments stand in stark contrast to the ones made by executives of Google, Facebook and Silicon Valley. All of they have applauded Apple CEO Tim Cook’s stance against providing the access to the iPhone of San Bernardino shooter.
