Telugu film Producers Council has finally decided to act strict against the top directors and heroes of tollwyood. With big budget films getting postponed from announced date on numerous times, a lot of small films are always left to pay the price.
Unlike Bollywood, Tollywood has been witnessing the issue of release dates for a long time. Small filmmakers have been expressing their concern that the indefinite delays of big films are affecting their films’ prospects and incurring huge losses to them.
According to reports, the Producers Council has chalked out a unique plan to avoid any grievances in future. The Producers Council is soon going to implement this new rule.
The committee has directed all the filmmakers not to push their films suddenly and stick to their original release dates. Under any circumstances, if a film fails to meet the scheduled release date, it should be postponed for at least one month so that the prospects of other small films shouldn’t get hampered.
It is learnt that all the filmmakers have agreed to the new directive and it will be implemented from January 1, 2016.
