Indian star shuttler Saina Nehwal has lifted the Australian Open Super Series Badminton tournament title.
Saina in the final match played at Sydney on Sunday, defeated Chinese Sun Yu to claim her first title of year 2016.
In the first set the Chinese took lead 11-21, and Saina took the second set 21-14 and third was won by Saina 21-19.
In the semi-finals, while Seventh Seeded Saina easily saw off higher placed Chinese Yihan Wang, Sun stunned compatriot and third seed Xuerui Li.
