On Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh Government too formed a Special Investigation Team to probe into the data theft case.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief of YSR Congress party and opposition leader in the Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly on Wednesday met Governor ESL Narasimhan and demanded an inquiry into the data theft case.
YS Jagan also said, that “IT Grids company is
having all the access to the data and it wouldn’t happen without the help of
Andhra Pradesh government.”
He further alleged that the Chandrababu led
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is using this data to identify voters of TDP and
other parties.
Andhra Pradesh government on the other hand
dismissed allegations of data theft.
