Intermediate Board of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday (14th of May) made it clear that intermediate students of Telangana who have studied their first year in Telangana are not allowed to take second year inter admission in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
The Hindu reports, the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate education (BIE) has given clear instructions to college principals across the State and directed them not to allow admission in the second year for students who have studied first year in Telangana.
What made Andhra Pradesh refuse Telangana 2nd year inter students?
According to a statement given by BIE Secretary B. Udaya Lakshmi, the syllabus in the two States was different and thus, students interested in joining the Intermediate course in Andhra Pradesh colleges, should do it in the first year itself.
