An astronaut’s job is not finished once they set their boots back on the ground….

An astronaut’s job is not finished once they set their boots back on the ground. The support crew is always looking to improve the way science is conducted on the International Space Station. With that in mind, ESA – European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet visited the flight controllers at the Payload operations Integration Center – mission control for science on the Space Station located at #NASAMarshall – to review his recent mission on the orbiting laboratory. During a break in the session, he stepped into the role of Payload Communicator and made a quick call to the station to say hello to his fellow astronauts.

Soon afterwards, it was back to reviewing all the investigations he worked on during his seven-month stay conducting #ScienceInOrbit.
