Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba is getting ready to open offices in Europe, so that they can attract a lot more sellers to the platform.
Alibaba Group founder and executive chairman Mr. Jack Ma’s strategy of expanding his organization to the EU comes at an interesting time.
He recently met Belgian Prime Minister Mr. Charles Michel and confirmed opening up an office of Alibaba in Belgium.
Responding on this development, the prime minister of Belgium said in a statement, “Mr. Jack Ma, President of the Alibaba Group confirmed an office will be opened in Belgium. This is major gateway for Belgian manufacturers and SMEs into the Chinese market.”
Alibaba provides consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales services via web portals. It also provides electronic payment services, a shopping Search Engine and data-centric cloud computing services.
