Cute actress Alia Bhatt, who has been labeled as the next big thing in Bollywood, has received a huge jolt. Her latest film ‘Shaandaar’, which has hit screens the other day, has been panned by critics and it might end up as a disaster.
The expectations on the film were huge. The fresh combination of Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor and the director Vikas Bahl (who gave the biggest critically acclaimed film of last year, ‘Queen’)’s name and the pink bikini treat of Alia have helped the film to clock Rs 12 Crore opening.
However, the film saw huge drops on second day itself. Alia and Shahid were panned for bad acting. The pale script and lazy direction didn’t help the cause.
Alia had many hopes on the film hence she worked hard on her body and did bikini scene. However, it only helped to fulfill the fantasies of front benchers but did not help the film in any way.
