Congress President Rahul Gandhi established several committees in Punjab, Goa, Puducherry and Gujarat for the upcoming summer elections.
The Coordination committee has all leaders from the state excluding Punjab’s minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Ex-Union Minister Manish Tewari and Punjab minister Vijay Inder Singla was appointed as chairperson of media Coordination Committee and Publicity Committee respectively.

Congress’s Punjab poll campaign will be lead by Amarinder Singh. Ex-CM Digambar Kamat will lead Goa Lok Sabha elections.
Siddharth Patel, the ex Gujarat legislator, is made the campaign committee chief in Gujarat. He had also lead Assembly elections in 2017 but had lost it.
State Congress chief Sunil Jhakar is the President of Pradesh Election Committee which includes other leaders as members namely Amarinder Singh, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Preneet Kaur and Pratap Singh Bajwa.
Punjab campaign committee has Ambika Soni, Shamsher Singh Dullo, Mohinder Singh Kaypee, Ashwani Kumar, Manpreet Singh Badal and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Whereas the Coordination committee has all leaders from the state excluding Punjab’s minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Rajeev Satav is made the President of the Coordination Committee of the Gujarat state.
Alpesh Thakore, OBC leader, is appointed as coordinator in Campaign Committee for Gujarat.
Madhusudan Mistry is appointed as President Manifesto Committee with Manish Doshi as coordinator.
CMV Narayanasamy of Puducherry is made the chairperson of Coordination Committee.
Congress President V Namassivayam is the chairperson of Pradesh Election Committee and State Welfare Minister. M Kandasamy is selected as President of the Campaign Committee.
Chella Kumar, Goa’s AICC in charge is also a part of chairmanship of Coordination Committee along with Girish Chodankar as coordinator.
Chodankar is also appointed as a President in Election Committee.
