A brand-new artificial intelligence (AI) system can sport Sleepy Employees and shoot cold air.
Daikin Industries, a Japanese air-conditioning producer has developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system that shoots cold air when it notices employees are drowsy at work.
According to an article published in Wall Street Journal, the company conducted research and discovered that making the area colder for a few minutes was more effective at rousing staffs than coffee or bright lights.
It further said that the product is anticipated to be available in the market by year 2020.
Recently however, there has been a movement in support of napping at work, with scientific studies eMphasising health and productivity benefits, and over 6% of employers in some countries providing facilities to do so.
