India Manthan (2017-2022)” in all the districts of the country from August 19, 2017 to August 30, 2017

Shri Radha Mohan Singh, the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, today held an audio conferencing with all the VCs of University, ATTARI Directors and heads of KVKs across the country. Shri Singh informed that New India Manthan program to be organized in all Districts of the Country. The presence of all the Agriculture and Allied Sectors officers and employees of the Government of India and the State Government, students and a large number of farmers will be ensured during the programs. Agriculture Minister has personally written to the Ministers and MPs of all the districts, to be present in the programs of all the districts.
Shri Singh said that this program will last for two and a half hours in which the first video message of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to be shown. After that, a film will be shown on the efforts being made by the Government of India for agricultural development and the resolution will be taken to free the country from various categories like poverty, Corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism etc. which will include the resolution of doubling the income of the farmers of the country by 2022. All necessary materials and messages are being provided to all KVK.
