Great new exhibition just opened at ESA #ESTEC‘s visitor centre SPACE EXPO in Noordwijk, the Netherlands!
Space Expo – Nieuwe expositie “Terug uit de ruimte”
Opened this weekend, 27 May, Space Expo has a new exhibition ‘Back from Space’: 100 objects that have been in space and been flown back to Earth.
Among the items are astronaut garments, parts of the Hubble Space Telescope, children’s drawings and moon dust. Among the highlights of this special collection are the flightsuit of Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise, the Star Trek: The Next Generation outfit of Samantha Cristoforetti and the Soyuz capsule of André Kuipers.
