Amazon, an American e-commerce giant, that sells almost everything online to its customers is now planning to expand its travel services.
As part of its travel service expansion, the organization has launched a new hotel-booking service, called ‘Amazon Destinations’.
The new service will offers deals on getaways and hotels in three metro zones (US), New York, Los Angeles and Seattle, and their surrounding regions.
The new service is a part of Amazon’s local site which offers rebates on travel, entertainments,restaurant, and different other offerings from neighborhoods.
The strategic intention behind the new service is to build against leading travel sites such as Expedia and TripAdvisor.
Amazon.com provides online retail shopping services. The company provides services majorly in four customer sets: consumers, sellers, enterprises, and content creators.
It also provides marketing as well as promotional services, such as online advertising and co-branded credit card agreements.
