The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has said that United States of America had violated the international law by throwing an air-strike on a Syrian military airfield without supplying any proof of the use of chemical weapons by the Damascus Government.
“The air-strike was carried out on a sovereign country, without an approval by the UN Security Council,” Putin said in a Television channel interview in Moscow.
Putin has condemned the US missile strike on Syria, comparing it to the military interference in Iraq that was based on an unproven claim that the country had weapons of mass devastation.
Mr. Putin also said “ a military campaign started in Iraq and concluded with the destruction of the nation, adding that the danger of terrorism raised and Islamic State militants emerged on the international scene.”
The United States military fired missiles at a Syrian air force base on 07th of April when the Donald J. Trump Administration has made a firm decision that Syrian Government forces had used chemical weapons in opposition-detained zone.
