A famous apparel brand operated by fashion boutique chain FabIndia was sealed in Goa on Friday and four people were arrested for allegedly setting up a CCTV cam in the store’s changing room where Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani was trying out garments.
According to sources, the case had been given over to the Goa Police Crime Branch for further examination.
“Employees of the Fabindia store had been arrested and a First Information Report has been filed under segments 354 and 509 of IPC”, North Goa’s Superintendent of Police Umesh Gaonkar said.
“We have sealed the store. Investigations are on,” Gaonkar told journalists.
