Renowned Movie Star and President of JanaSena party Pawan Kalyan has become a pain and discomfort for the state government. He has previously supported BJP and TDP alliance during 2014 elections with a trust and hope that the newly formed state Andhra Pradesh would be benefitted in every direction and would additionally be granted special status as promised by central government during their election campaign in the state.
Pawan Kalyan hasn’t played an immensely important role in the state politics other than occasional Twitter updates and messages. But, that was only until the Tirupathi public meeting. The game has comprehensively changed since then.
Now, Pawan Kalyan has taken the driving seat and started fighting against several issues including special status. He has even brought out a music album exhibiting the failure of central government to fulfil their promise done during election campaign.
Janasena campers are confident that Pawan Kalyan would contest 2019 elections and would take the thrown. But the ground reality demonstrates that the party possesses no robust root base to grab the thrown.
Nevertheless, very evidently Janasena would be a major player in upcoming elections and the ruling party is aware of it. But from what we see, Pawan Kalyan’s every move signifies that he is not greedy to become Chief Minister. And surprisingly, instead, he eyed a lot more in the direction of people’s problems in addition to their solutions which tends to make him THE LEADER and not an ordinary politician. His recent aggressive moves made the local political parties to rethink their next election strategies.
From this day forward it’s time to wait and see next moves of Pawan Kalyan and it would be interesting to see what local and central governments would do. Whatever it is, the journey of “THE LEADER” is on cards.
