The bifurcated Andhra Pradesh state recorded a staggering growth rate of 13.94 percent in the second quarter of this Financial Year.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu has released the report on the “Quarterly Performance Assessment Report Q2 2015” at the Collectors Conference in Vijayawada and stated that the state has achieved 13.94 percent in growth in the second quarter.
After achieving 9.72 percent growth in the first quarter, the economy has achieved 13.94 percent in the second quarter, thus overall the growth in the first half of this fiscal stands at 11.77 percent against the targeted 10.62 percent.
Naidu added that fisheries and animal husbandry achieved growth rate of 47.10 percent, followed by service and industry sectors at 8.05 and 6.25 percent. He also instructed the collectors to prepare action plan for their respective districts to achieve better growth rate in next quarters.
He also revealed that the state government is working on the plan to achieve Double Digit Growth with per-capita income of over Rs 10 lakh by 2030.
