Guaranteeing to help America’s working class, President Barack Obama on Monday sent Congress a record $4 trillion financial plan.
The new plan helps to raise taxes on the wealthy while boosting tax credits for middle-class families and the working poor.
“These suggestions are practical, not partisan,” Obama said of his overall plans.
“They’ll help working families feel more secure with paychecks that go further, help American workers redesign their skills so they can seek higher-paying occupations, and help make the conditions for our organizations to continue creating great new employments for our laborers to fill.” Obama said.
