Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu seems to be inspired by the new schemes introduced by the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The AP CM has been implementing KCR initiated schemes one by one in AP.
Few days ago, Naidu announced the launch of Water Grid project in Andhra Pradesh, one of the flagship programmes initiated by KCR, long back. However, Naidu claimed before the European delegation that it was his brainchild.
The other day, the AP Chief Minister has launched “She Auto” service in Vijayawada and stated that it is a unique endeavor to empower women and to provide safety for women passengers.
The Chief Minister has distributed autos worth Rs 1 Crore to 49 women under the ‘She Auto’ scheme. The government has also provided 7 percent subsidy to each auto that costs about Rs 2 lakh.
In fact, the scheme is already under implementation in Telangana capital city Hyderabad with “She Cabs” name. Yet again Babu claimed that ‘She Auto’ is his pet project.
Inspiring from one’s counterpart is not wrong but calling the ideas as own is embarrassing.
