Senior BJP leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has attributed the Saffron party’s unprecedented defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections to its loose talking leaders whose remarks had overshadowed the development agenda of the party.
He added that despite he tried many times to correct the situations created by loose talkers in his party, a section of media only highlighted the loose talkers and their utterly foolish statements. He too hinted about the Union cabinet reshuffle, which might take place after the Winter Sessions of the Parliament.
It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah have deiced to remove the loose talkers from cabinet and induct leaders with minimum common sense.
It is known that BJP managed to win just 53 seats in Bihar polls despite Modi spearheaded the election campaign and promised development. More than his special package and the development agenda, the loose talkers and their controversial statements got the attention of Bihar people.
