Scientists at the International Institute of Information technology, Hyderabad have created the FIRST-ever Indian Brain Atlas.
According to the study, the Indian bran on an average is smaller in height, width and volume when compared to Western and other eastern population.
Reacting to a study published in the Times of India, Mahindra group chairman Anand Mahindra on his Twitter page wrote, “This is the most appropriate time to deploy the old response: ‘Size doesn’t matter’.”
The observation was according to the first-ever ‘Indian Brain Atlas’ created by researchers. The study will help in the initial diagnosis of brain-related ailments like Alzheimer’s.
