Movie business analyst Taran Adarsh on 2nd of November via his Twitter page announced that Boney Kapoor has joined hands with Telugu film producer Dil Raju to remake Pink in Telugu.
“BIGGG NEWS… After remaking Pink in Tamil, Boney Kapoor joins hands with Dil Raju to remake Pink in Telugu… The Telugu remake will star Pawan Kalyan… Directed by Sriram Venu… Pawan Kalyan was last seen in #Agnyaathavaasi [2018],” Adarsh wrote.
Boney Kapoor has confirmed the news by retweeting Taran’s announcement.
Pink is a 2016 Hindi-language courtroom drama-social thriller film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Tushar Pandey, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee.
The film is remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai, starring Ajith Kumar in lead roles, directed by H. Vinoth and was released in 2019.
