Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 20th of September thanked Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for conferring upon him Global Goalkeepers Goals Award 2019.
Mr. Modi on his Twitter page wrote, “I thank the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for conferring upon me the Global Goalkeepers Goals Award 2019.”
He also wrote, “over the last five years India has taken many efforts to improve cleanliness and sanitation, fulfilling Gandhi Ji’s dream of a Swachh Bharat”.
Talking about his United States visit, Mr. Modi said, “the USA visit will give me an excellent opportunity to interact with various global leaders. India will be hosting interactions with leaders of the Pacific Island States, and leaders of the CARICOM group on the margins of UNGA.”
“Key events I would be attending at the UN are the Climate Action Summit, an event on Universal Health Coverage, and opening plenary of the Bloomberg Global business Forum,” Mr. Modi wrote.
He also said that these forums will give opportunities to showcase India’s efforts to build Peaceful and prosperous world.
Mr. Modi further said, “I look forward to my meeting with President of United States Donald Trump. Shared values, convergent interests and complementary strengths provide the strong foundations for a natural partnership between the world’s oldest and largest democracies.”
