Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday received congratulatory messages from leaders across the world on the victory in the General Election.
Mr. Modi received congratulatory messages from the leaders include Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison, Crown Prince of UAE Mohamed bin Zayed and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
The United States President Donald Trump has also congratulated Modi and BJP on the victory in the General Election.
Mr Trump wrote on his Twitter page, “great things are in store for the US-India partnership with the return of Prime Minister Modi at the helm.”
The US President also said that he is looking forward to continue the important work together.
Expressing his gratitude for the world leaders’ compliments and good wishes, Mr Modi said that the General Elections embodied the strength of Indian democracy, which is the World’s Largest.
