Constant campaigns to manipulate the opinion of the public through false or misleading news stories and surveys seemingly became standard political practice in Telugu states.
To maintain neutrality in journalism, journalists should present the facts whether or not they like or agree with those facts.
Impartial reporting is meant to portray issues and events in a neutral and unbiased manner, regardless of the writers or reporters’ opinion or personal beliefs.
But, the scenario in the Andhra Pradesh is completely different.
Majority of mainstream media organisations in Andhra Pradesh are in favour of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress.
It is not at all that complicated to come up with this conclusion once you go through their style of reporting.
The way they invest in reporting to simply praise the leaders of the parties mentioned above, the way they hide heart-breaking issues to protect the credibility of the party and the way they mislead the people with biased reporting is mind-boggling.
Latest Evidence on their FAKE reporting.
Pro YS Jagan Mohan Reddy media recently published projections on Election Results.
It said in its newspaper and media channel that according to NDTV survey, YSR Congress Party will sweep the election in Andhra Pradesh.
But, NDTV denied the news and said, they have not done any survey.
Am told a ‘survey report’ with predictions about Election Results in #AP is being circulated on social media, with one of the result predictions attributed to NDTV-CSDS; this is to clarify that no such survey has been conducted by @ndtv

Pro N. Chandrababu Naidu media also published projection and said, according to Lokniti-CSDS, the TDP will again form the government in Andhra Pradesh.
The ‘Lokniti-CSDS’ too denied the news and said, they have not done any surveys in State of Andhra Pradesh.
Lokniti-CSDS has NOT done any survey in the State of Andhra Pradesh. What is being Shared on Social Media is FAKE and complete rubbish!

Sakshi media recently published a story in its daily newspaper saying that “the seat-sharing deal between Telugu Desam Party and JanaSena has been finalised. JanaSena as part of the deal agreed to take 25 Assembly seats and 3 Lok Sabha seats.”
Pawan Kalyan Slammed the Media on the Fake News Stories.
JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan too slammed the Fake News story and wrote on his Twitter, “TDP says JSP (JanaSena Party) is a partner to YCP (YSR Congress) and BJP; Now YCP says JSP is a partner to TDP. When I meet Sri KCR in Rajbhavan TDP says I am with YCP & TRS. When you truly work for people you have to face music from all sides.”
Mr. Kalyan also wrote, “One senior Political observer told me that, both ‘TDP & YCP joined hands to damage the reputation of JSP by constantly planting stories. I wish I could have my paper and TV channel to fight back. But I am inspired by the path of Late ‘Sri Kanshi Ram’ establishing BSP without any channel and newspaper. My Janasainiks are my channels and newspapers.”
He further wrote, “I want people to prepare for more stories as the election dates come nearer. For all this stories to stop ‘what they expect me to do is; to support these parties but not be independent. May be ,I am a small pawn in the game of political chess; but established political classes should remember ‘ I am a soldier ’ who’s is willing to fight.”
Pawan Kalyan proved media wrong.
Pawan Kalyan had previously made it clear that his party will contest in all the 175 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and will not align with any ruling or opposition parties.
He proved the media wrong as he aligned with CPI, CPM and BSP.
Janasena as part of an alliance deal with the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and the Bhahujan Samaj Party (BSP), it allocated 2, 2 and 3 Lok Sabha seats respectively.
It also decided to give 7 assembly seats to CPI, 7 assembly seats to CPM, and 21 assembly constituencies to BSP.
Lastly, you as a voter should always follow your own instincts and of course your own analysis.
