According to Pakistan‘s finance Ministry, China has decided to provide a loan worth $2.1 billion to Pakistan.
The loan which will be credited on Monday (25th of March) in the State Bank of Pakistan’s account will reportedly help to boost to Pakistan’s economy.
The Pakistan’s Finance Ministry has announced that all procedural formalities for the transfer of the $2.1 billion loan being provided by the Chinese government have been completed, and the funds will be deposited in the State Bank of Pakistan’s account by Monday.
Since 1950, China and Pakistan have placed considerable importance on the maintenance of an extremely close and supportive special relationship.
China also supports Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir, while Pakistan supports China on the issues of Xinjiang, Tibet, and Taiwan.
