The apex court today has suggested mediation in the Ram Jan Bhoomi Babri Masjid case for the need of healing relationships. The five-judge bench headed by Cheif Justice Ranjan Gogoi expressed even if 1 percent chances can resolve the matter through mediation, it should go ahead.

“If translations of documents are now acceptable to all, parties cannot contest translations once proceedings begin,” the bench said. Furthermore, an order will be passed by the top court on March 5 on whether the matter should be referred to a court-appointed mediator.
