According to a recent research by the University of California researchers, traces of marijuana compounds were discovered in the breast milk of nursing women up to 6 days after use.
Based on a report published in UC Health, they discovered that the compounds were noticeable in 63% of the provided samples.
They further said that one of the compounds, THC, has chemical goods that could interrupt brain progress.
Chambers said the outcomes are a stepping stone for future study. Additional researches need to be done, not only to determine the long-term effect of marijuana in breast milk for children, but more precisely.
