A popular freeware and cross-platform messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly looking to open up its first India office in Hyderabad city of Telangana State after CEO Chris Daniels met Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao recently.
This comes after WhatsApp agreed to meet all demands by the central government except tracing the origin of messages.
Facebook, which owns WhatsApp, had launched its Asia hub in Hyderabad in 2010.
